Hoop Earrings

I'm not sure what possessed me to  dust off my hoop earrings from the 90s and sport them in this day and age. Perhaps I was feeling nostalgic...
Looking at the pics though, I think I'm not gonna dust them off again any time soon...

I wore:
Hoop earrings: vintage
Sweater: Whistles (here )

Bardot Dress

This is a summer dress, but with the addition of a jeans jacket, it turns into perfectly acceptable autumn dress.
It's also one of those REALLY good buys from ASOS; on trend, yet a classic and made of a good quality stretchy cotton. I love it.

I wore:
Jeans jacket: Wrangler
Dress: ASOS (here or in yellow print here)
Clutch: Accessorize (similar here )
Shoes: Christian Louboutin (similar here and here on sale )
Sunnies: Whistles (here )

Lips: MAC "Candy Yum Yum" (here )
Nails: OPI Kardashian "Listen To Your Momager"

It's Sweater Time

Do ignore the crazy posing and concentrate on the hat. I never quite know whether the hat is too small or my head infeasibly big. I suspect the latter. Not that it stops me from wearing the aforementioned headgear, of course.

I wore:
Hat: Catarzi
Sweater: ASOS (here )
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (here)
Shirt: Bellfield (similar here)
Dungarees: ASOS (similar here)
Shoes: Whistles (similar here)

We all know that I love my cakes. So there was no one happier than me when a new bakery opened a stone's throw away from my house. Yay! The Wild Goose Bakery is located in Leytonstone, East London and is run by a very knowledgeable and friendly husband and wife team.
The minute you walk in you can tell the bakery is a labour of love for them; simple, artisanal homemade food and lovingly sourced tea and coffees are all on the menu. There are breads, soups, cakes, brownies and much more...
The decor is simple but cute and the food is delicious.
I had a lemon and strawberry cake which was perfectly moist and tasty as well as the delicious latte.
I know East London is a bit off the beaten path for most people, but if you do happen to be in the neighbourhood, do try this family run bakery.

I wore:
Necklace: oNecklace
Sweater: ASOS
Watch: Olivia Burton
Jeans: Mango
Bracelet: Ottoman Hands
Shoes: Zara
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff

Don't forget to stop by my Twitter and Facebook to say "Hi". :) Have a great weekend, everyone.

Saturday, 27 September 2014

My dear Mom used to clothe me in dungarees a lot. I seem to be wearing them in pretty much all the photos ever taken of me during my...erm...kindergarten years.
Fast forward several decades and here I am sporting dungarees again.
Mine are a last year's buy from ASOS and what a good and surprisingly versatile buy it has been (just look at all my pictorial evidence!)
In fact, they've been such a hit, I'm considering buying another pair, but perhaps in black this time.

I wore:
Dungarees: ASOS
Bracelets: Erin Elizabeth
Top: Oasis
Clutch: Accessorize
Sandals: Sol Sana

OK, pink is probably not the most obvious choice when it comes to versatility in your wardrobe, but what with me being such a girly girl even at my middle age, it is very versatile colour in MY wardrobe.
This suede leather biker jacket was an early spring purchase from River Island and I got a LOT of wear out of it. I paired it with pretty much everything in my closet so far....from jeans and skirts to glam dresses. Now if only I could be a bit more sensible and get a classic BLACK biker jacket next...

I wore:
Pink suede leather jacket: River Island
White tee: POP Cph
Sunnies: Ray-Ban
Bracelets: vintage; Fiorelli
Skirt: ASOS
Sandals: Zara
