Lace And Denim

This lace dress is my latest favourite purchase and I've been wearing it everywhere. From business meetings to brunches with friends. I love it so much, I'm thinking about getting a black version too. It's a very easy piece to wear and can be dressed up or down. My enthusiasm, however, is not shared by everyone. "It needs a belt", "It's very granny-like...no?", "Very closed....you need to show some cleavage...and leg, definitely show some leg."; are the comments I've been getting.
Well, I'm showing some leg in the photo above and granny chic is very happening, right? :D
I wore:
Lace dress: ASOS
Wedge boots: Zara
Bracelets: vintage
Rings: Ottoman Hands; Isharya
Denim jacket: Wrangler

Lips: O.M.G. by Sleek
Nails: Rouge Rubis by Mavala

  2. Odlična je haljina! Volim bijelu, obožavam čipku - super... sviđaju mi se čizmice na cjelokupni look! ;)

  4. I would absolutely wear this same outfit. To me, mixing casual denim and a girly lace is the ultimate contrast. Booties are one of my favourite styles of shoes!

  7. I think the dress is gorgeous! There's something refreshing about a knee length dress in a sea of maxis and minis :)

  8. I think it's perfect length. More leg or cleavage would just disturb the 'americana' balance this outfit has. Second picture shows it off really well.

  10. I love that dress! I've eyed it up before and I had to just go back to ASOS to see if it was the one I'd been looking at. And never mind what other people say, I think it's perfect as it is. Less is more with a dress like that. Love the red lips.

  16. I think that's a gorgeous length dear! I get that comment quite a lot as well, that I sometimes dress as a grandma. But then I wear a short skirt and they say it's too short? It's never good so just do whatever you want. You look gorgeous!
